Modena Motors
Modena is considered to be the one, true capital of automobiles as some of the greatest manufacturers were born there, in particular, Ferrari, Maserati and De Tomaso. Not far from the historical centre, in Largo Garibaldi, stands the monument dedicated to Enzo Ferrari who lived nearby. In Viale Trento Trieste, stands the original location of the Ferrari workshop which was started up in the 1930s. While in Viale Ciro Menotti stands the historical site of Maserati, now run by Ferrari. Modena's bond with the world of cars is also manifested in the many prestigious automobile events that take place in the city centre and by the presence of two private museums - 'Stanguellini' and 'Panini' - dedicated to the most exclusive vehicles.
Our adventure does not end here but continues along Via Giardini, the 18th-century road that leads to Maranello and the home of the great Ferrari. In this town everything revolves around the genius of Enzo Ferrari and it is almost impossible not to give into the temptation of buying a souvenir such as a model car or a cap with the famous cavallino rampante logo.
