Near Modena you can visit Spilamberto, a beautiful village located on the Strada dei Castelli, the 'Road of Castles'. On the way to Bologna you can pass through Castelfranco Emilia, an important agri-industrial town, and San Cesario sul Panaro, a medieval village with a city park containing ancient plants.
